Aer Lingus to go live with TouchPC Falcon
Aer Lingus will become the fifth Airline to utilise Novo Ivc’s new Falcon platform when the system goes live on all routes at the beginning of November.
The Irish national carrier has purchased 95 of the Windows CE devices, which have powerful lithium ion battery packs, high speed thermal printing and integral ports for credit cards, smart cards, compact flash cards and USB pens. All ground based processing requirements will be taken care of by WM-data’s highly comprehensive back office software Pro Logistica.
Novo’s partnership with Aer Lingus marks the fifth airline solution to be based around the Falcon, following on from the exceptional success of the Falcon’s predecessor, the CEagle. The other airlines to take to the skies with the Falcon are Thomas Cook UK, Jet2, Transavia and Thomas Cook Germany
