The TouchPC Raven meets all requirements you should demand from a mobile point of sale solution. The Raven is ergonomic and robust making its design ideally suited for daily use in retailing, catering and hospitality applications.
The fast Intel XScale processor provides sufficient power for complex applications. The bright TFT colour display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels has excellent contrast thus ensuring screens are always easy to read. The embedded wireless LAN module guarantees fast real-time data transfer in 802.11g (54 Mbit/s) environments and maintains network consistency. For most on-board applications a 'batch' ( non-wireless ) mode of operation will be employed. Regardless of whether the client is linking to a 54 Mbit (802.11g) wireless LAN network, or using SD memory cards or USB-based storage the Raven will meet all modern IT requirements and will optimise the business process.
Microsoft's standard Windows CE .NET operating system and the Novo system software combine to facilitate optimal functionality and the ability to bespoke the application, minimising the cost of investment whilst totally transforming operational efficiency.
